I ASPIRE.
YIPPEE!!!
Yesterday i went to Saint Andrew's Junior College and gosh, how large it was. I was dressed so formally that i didn't feel at all comfortable. Hmm, how do prefects stand those stranggling ties on their necks? I love those surreal red and pink roses placed along the front of the stage. They really added vibrancy to the whole auditorium. XD.
So, i was there for the South Zone Colours Award. I was the last person for the 1st award receipients cause they arranged the awardees by the number of times thye received this award, then in alphabetical order of the sports and finally in alphabetically order of the school name. Since it was the first time i am getting this award (yarh, cause i am a sec 1) and i am recognised for wushu and lastly from RGS, i was so bored sitting alone, separated from my classmates and friends. Fortunately, i had some of my wushu friends to talk to and we were laughing throughout the guest of honour's speech.
Yes, i shall keep up this preformance and make it a point to get at least zonal colours every year in the next 5 years of my schooling.
I was kind of nervous to go up on stage but the usher was really nice and she congratulated me, making me feel all-so-good. Can you believe it, i actually talked to the prize presenter. haha. The scroll we took was fake, as in they collected it back after giving it to us on stage. The real certificates would be issued to the school.
After the one and a half hours long of clapping, my hands were red. When people slowly left the auditorium, we, the RGS girls gathered at the front waiting for a moment to "chiong" up the stage to take a group photo. I, being short, stood in the secong row and right smack in the middle. Nvm, i am not exactly camera shy. In fact, i like to take photos. *beams*
I like Mrs Deborah Tan. She is a wonderful principal. She talked to me casually and i think she remembered me after walking me to my mother's car the other time i left early from school due to high fever. She really deserves my respect.
My parents were at the ceremony and gee, it was weird to see them while on stage taking a bow. I guess i looked real spastic.
P.S I saw HIM again. This time i winked "hi". haha.
